The NBA playoffs are about to begin. In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics start as heavy favorites due to their outstanding regular season, where they managed to secure first place with a 64-18 record, surpassing their previous season’s numbers (57-25), proof that the team has improved enough in one year to be considered the top contender for the title.

In the Western Conference, the experienced Denver Nuggets start the postseason as the rival to beat with a 57-25 record, securing the second place in the Conference behind the surprise of the season, the Oklahoma Thunder. Although they did not achieve first place like the Celtics, the reigning champions dream of winning the title and getting Denver’s second consecutive ring.

Which teams will face each other in the playoffs?

In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics are still waiting for their opponent to be determined, which could be the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat or Philadelphia 76ers. Likewise, the New York Knicks could face either Miami or Philadelphia, depending on the results of the play-ins. On the other hand, the Cleveland Cavaliers will face the Orlando Magic, while the Milwaukee Bucks will play the Indiana Pacers.

In the West, the Oklahoma Thunder are waiting for the series between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Sacramento Kings to be decided. The Los Angeles Clippers will face the Dallas Mavericks, the Minnesota Timberwolves will compete against the Phoenix Suns and the Nuggets against the Lakers.

Where to watch the NBA playoff games?
