Soccer stars go bananas in support of Barça’s Dani Alves
Hulk, Neymar and Roberto Carlos say no to racism by imitating star's on-pitch gesture
Hulk, Neymar, Roberto Carlos... the world of soccer has taken to the social networks in support of Barcelona player Dani Alves, who was subjected to a racist taunt during a match against Villarreal at the weekend. Using the hashtag #somosmacacos (wearemonkeys), the stars posted photos of themselves imitating the Brazilian right-back’s gesture of eating a banana that had been thrown at him from the crowd.
Alves’ Barcelona teammate Neymar posed with his son.
Zenit St Petersburg’s Hulk had his photo taken with his family.

Argentinean Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero and Brazil's Marta also wanted to make their positions clear.

Meanwhile, former Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos did not hesitate to show his support.
