Video: Drunk Spanish taxi driver filmed traveling on wrong side of highway
The vehicle ended up colliding with another car on the A-42 Madrid-Toledo road
Cellphone footage filmed by a Madrid cleaning services operator shows how a taxi driver caused havoc on Sunday night by traveling on the wrong side of the highway.
The cab driver was found to have quadruple the permitted alcohol limit in his bloodstream
In the video the municipal workers can be heard repeatedly yelling at the driver, who was found to have quadruple the permitted alcohol limit in his bloodstream, to stop, radio network Cadena Ser reported.
The incident occurred on the A-42 highway between Madrid and Toledo.
Although the footage does not capture the moment when the cab driver stopped, the broadcaster reported that the vehicle ended up colliding with another car and caused minor damage.
