Ex-UN chief to participate in forum on ETA's demise

Kofi Annan to join panel set up by Brian Currin's Lokarri

Former UN Secretary General and Nobel Prize winner Kofi Annan will join a panel discussion on Monday with other noted international personalities to talk about the end of terrorist violence and ETA's imminent demise.

Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams and former Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Bruntland will join Annan in the panel dialogue, which will take place in San Sebastián.

The organizers of the event are members of Lokarri, the international social organization headed by South African lawyer and mediator Brian Currin, which promotes peaceful coexistence in the Basque Country. Currin announced the panel on Saturday.
