Police search city home for missing children
Still no trace of six- and two-year-old siblings who disappeared in Córdoba last Saturday
Police on Wednesday conducted a search of the city residence of the paternal grandfather of the two children who, according to their father, disappeared in a Córdoba park last Saturday.
The news comes after officers removed the cordon around the out-of-town estate belonging to the grandparents of missing six-year-old Ruth Bretón Ordiz and her two-year-old brother José, where the investigation had been concentrated until now. On Wednesday morning, police also temporarily suspended their search around the Guadalquivir river for the children. So far no trace of them has been found.
Officially, nobody is under investigation in the case. Police are ruling nothing out, but say they have been surprised by the lack of emotion with which the children's father, José Bretón, has reacted to the disappearance.
