On the 10th day of the eruption of the new volcano on La Palma, the lava finally arrived on the coast after having destroyed hundreds of homes and other buildings. On Tuesday afternoon, the molten rock overcame the last obstacle: the Montaña de Todoque. Afterwards, the lava flowed over banana plantations and a coastal road before finally falling into the Atlantic Ocean.
