Shakira has broken records by selling more than 450,000 tickets in just a few hours. To ensure no fan misses out on what is set to be one of the biggest celebrations of the Latino community in Spain, the Colombian artist is adding two more dates: Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11.

After a year of touring the world, Shakira will wrap up her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour in Madrid. And she will be doing it in style: the singer will have her own stage created especially for the occasion, dubbed the Shakira Stadium, the details of which are gradually being revealed. On Friday, the artist posted images of what her performances will look like, featuring giant screens, fireworks, and the areas of Macondo Park—a small themed town located within the Iberdrola Musica venue itself — where the concerts will take place.

“Oh my God, this stadium looks amazing!! Can’t wait to see you all at my European residency in Madrid!!”, Shakira wrote in a social media post on Friday that had already racked up more than 145,000 “likes” within a few hours. The future stage is packed with color, and features a continuous screen several meters high and wide, designed to encompass the entire audience in the stands; organizers said it is “something that doesn’t exist in Europe yet and will come from China.”

This European tour is bringing together fans from various countries, underscoring the project’s international scope. The artist, one of the most influential figures on the global music scene, is reaffirming her close connection with her audience and her ability to draw crowds of hundreds of thousands of fans. Under the slogan “She’s Latina,” this event coincides with celebrations of the Latinx community around the world.

Produced by Live Nation Spain, the European residency in Madrid will take place at the Shakira Stadium, a spectacular temporary venue within the Iberdrola Music complex with a capacity for more than 50,000 fans per event. Designed by the renowned architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), it will offer unobstructed views, state-of-the-art acoustics, and premium experiences for fans, introducing the international artist residency format to Spain for the first time.

“Es Latina,” as the promoters have dubbed this show, will be held inside Macondo Park, where there will also be exhibitions, talks and other activities aimed at “celebrating shared cultural roots and highlighting Madrid as a global stage for diverse voices.”

Before her residency in Madrid, Shakira will continue her 2026 tour with additional dates, including a previously announced performance in Brazil this spring. She will headline the highly anticipated Todo Mundo No Rio concert on the iconic Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on May 2. Earlier this year she drew a record crowd to Mexico City’s iconic Zócalo square.
