Forced-landing helicopter falls into town street
Three passengers injured in El Puerto de Santa María crash
Three women were injured Sunday when the helicopter they were riding in fell into the middle of a street in the Cádiz town of El Puerto de Santa María. The accident occurred as the helicopter was trying to make a forced landing in an empty lot, authorities said.
Firemen and emergency services put anti-flammable material around the chopper to keep it from exploding. The accident is still being investigated.
According to police sources, the helicopter was from Germany and carrying a television crew which was taping a video documentary.
