Porter arrested over care home poisoning
Catalan police investigating the murder of an 85-year-old woman in a retirement home in La Caritat de Olot, Girona province, have arrested the center's porter.
Paquita Gironès Quintana died on Sunday night after drinking a corrosive liquid that burned her insides. Police are looking into whether J. V. D., 45, might have performed the act to relieve her suffering, but they are not ruling out an economic motive.
