Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet confirm the surprise romance of the summer in the middle of a Beyoncé concert
After months of rumors about a possible relationship, the actor and the businesswoman were seen kissing openly during the singer’s show in Los Angeles on Monday night
The summer of 2023 has been characterized by a series of breakups, separations and divorces. But as the season is coming to an end, a surprise couple has appeared to give some hope amid so many broken hearts. The new relationship is that of businesswoman Kylie Jenner, the younger sister of the Kardashian family, and actor Timothée Chalamet. For months, there has been talk of a possible relationship between the two, but many believed that they were too different. She is a classic 26-year-old Angeleno celebrity and has been famous since birth; she is also the mother of two children with rapper Travis Scott, with whom she has an on-and-off relationship. He is a 27-year-old New Yorker, who is focused on his film career; he is much more discreet and his only known relationship with fellow actress Lily-Rose Depp, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis’s daughter, ended three years ago. But on Monday night the couple demonstrated their clear chemistry and did not hesitate to make it public.
The couple was observed to be very much together, hugging and kissing at Beyoncé's concert at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles, her latest stop on her Renaissence world tour. Recently, many celebrities including Pedro Pascal, Selena Gomez, Adele, Zendaya, Kelly Rowland, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kerry Washington, Meghan Markle and sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian, along with their daughters, have been spotted singing Beyoncé's songs. But Monday’s show was special because the singer turned 42 years old. And it was during that same concert that the new couple left no doubts about their relationship status.
Chalamet and Jenner were on the dance floor, dancing together and embracing for all the world to see, as can be observed in a video published by celebrity website TMZ. In the clip, the couple doesn’t seem to know that they are being recorded, but they don’t hide their togetherness, either.

For months now, the American press has been speculating about the possible relationship between the Dune and Little Women actor and the young Kardashian. Kylie is the daughter of Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce, and Kris Jenner, and the sister of Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian and supermodel Kendall Jenner. At the time, the pair’s relationship was much more discreet, but in April photographers captured the cosmetics entrepreneur’s car parked outside the actor’s house. Then, in July the two went together to the same Mexican restaurant, each in their own car, and ordered takeout separately, but at the same time.
Kylie Jenner lives in Los Angeles. In addition to being a star of the eccentric family reality show, she has founded a cosmetic empire with an eponymous makeup line, which she sold to the Coty group three and a half years ago (somewhat controversially) for $600 million. She is raising her two children, a girl named Stormi, 5, and an 18-month-old boy initially named Wolf and then definitively renamed Aire. Jenner shares both children with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott; she reportedly ended their relationship last April.
For his part, Chalamet divides his time between the East Coast and the West Coast. He often works in Hollywood but was born and raised in New York. He’s the son of a former dancer-turned-real estate agent and a UNICEF worker of French origin (specifically from Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, a village in the Haute-Loire where the young man has spent a lot of time). He began his career at the age of 14 with small roles in television shows, but his big break came in 2017, with Lady Bird and especially Call Me by Your Name. Since then, he has not slowed down and has become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after faces on screen thanks to his work with Greta Gerwig, Denis Villeneuve and Woody Allen, among others; off screen, he generates buzz every time he steps on the red carpet. Next, he will star as Willy Wonka in a new remake of the famous tale about the eccentric chocolatier.
