Man crashes acting prime minister’s rally to cry of “You are the mafia!”
Mariano Rajoy’s bodyguards tackled the man and took him away as he screamed out against “corruption”
A citizen interrupted a Popular Party (PP) rally in Madrid on Tuesday to the cry of “You people are the mafia!”
The event, held at the capital’s Retiro Park, was attended by acting Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and his top picks for the Cabinet he will put together if he wins the repeat general elections of June 26.
Rajoy’s security detail quickly tackled the man and took him away as he continued to scream out against “corruption.”
Rajoy and PP secretary general María Dolores de Cospedal played down the incident, posing for the photo op with broad smiles on their faces.
