Fashion designer found dead with stab wounds and three notes
Judge rules out homicide of bridalwear creator

Fashion designer Manuel Mota was found dead in the bathroom of a clinic close to his home in Sitges, Barcelona province, on Tuesday. The 46-year-old, who had worked at the Pronovias bridalwear firm for the last 23 years, had knife wounds to his body, according to investigation sources.
Owing to the strange circumstances of the death, the on-duty judge asked for police to carry out an inspection to rule out the possibility of homicide. But this was later ruled out after three letters were found in a backpack Mota was carrying. One was addressed to his boyfriend, one to his family and one to the police. The latter revealed that the designer had been suffering from depression, in part due to work-related problems.
