High Court throws out case against Zapatero
Suit filed regarding PM's use of official planes rejected
The High Court has thrown out a suit filed by a law association against Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero for his use of official planes to attend two Socialist rallies and take his family on a trip to Britain.
The group accused the Spanish leader of displaying "behavior typical of a banana republic," and argued that Zapatero believes public assets are "at the service of his private or family needs, an ill affecting all nouveaux riches."
