NFL Playoffs 2024: Where to watch the Conference championships
The winners will face off in the Super Bowl LVIII. While the Kansas City Chiefs are still the favorites, the Ravens could surprise and get to the final game
The NFL has reached the last matches of the 2024 playoffs, which will lead the two best teams of each conference to the Super Bowl LVIII. Only four teams are left — two of each conference — and they will give it all in order to get to the last game, which will be played on February 11 for the first time in the state of Nevada with a half-time show by Usher. While the Chiefs and the 49ers are the main favorites, the Ravens and the Lions could give a surprise that could change the fate of the end of the season.
When will the NFL conference championships be played?
The NFL conference championships matches will be played on Sunday, January 28.
When and where to watch the NFL divisional round?
Here are the matches for Sunday, including their starting time and where they will be broadcast or streamed.
Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens
Sunday, January 28. 3:00 p.m. ET
Broadcast on CBS. Stream on Paramount+.
This is the Baltimore Ravens’ 11th playoff appearance in 16 years, while the Chiefs have arrived to their sixth straight conference title, which could lead them to a fourth Super Bowl win in six years. The Ravens have presented a well-rounded team with a strong defense under the leadership of quarterback Lamar Jackson. Meanwhile, the Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, have a dynamic offense and one of their best defenses with Justin Reid and Chris Jones.
Both teams had successful seasons, with the Ravens securing the AFC’s top seed and the Chiefs reaching their sixth straight conference title game. However, it seems that the Chiefs will make it to the last game one more time.
Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers
Sunday, January 28, 6:30 p.m. ET
Broadcast on Fox. Stream on Fubo.
This could be a David and Goliath type of match. The 49ers, under coach Kyle Shanahan, have been a dominant force in the NFC, making their fourth conference title game appearance in five years. On the other hand, the Lions are experiencing a playoff resurgence, making their first multi-game playoff run since 1991 and aiming for their first-ever Super Bowl appearance. Both teams showcase potent offenses, ranking second (49ers) and third (Lions) in the NFL in 2023, with key players like Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey for San Francisco, and a resurgent Jared Goff leading Detroit’s attack with play-makers like Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
The 49ers, with superior talent and a tendency to capitalize on defensive opportunities, are considered the favorites to win despite their faults during their last match with the Packers.
What’s next in the NFL?
The winners of the conference championship will face each other in the Super Bowl LVIII which is scheduled to be played on February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium, in Paradise, Nevada. The game will be broadcast on CBS and Univision, and streamed on Paramount+.
