This week on our ¿Qué? podcast, we discuss the state of alarm declared by the Spanish government in a bid to slow the spread of the coronavirus outbreak, and talk to several podcast listeners about how they are managing under the lockdown conditions.

In a special interview, host Simon Hunter speaks to his wife Rosa del Blanco, who tragically lost her grandmother last week after she became infected with the coronavirus.

¿Qué? is a podcast that tries to explain to an English-speaking audience the curious, the under-reported and sometimes simply bizarre news stories that are often in the headlines in Spain.

If you have any comments or questions about the topics we discuss, or would like to suggest issues for future podcasts, tweet Simon Hunter at @simoninmadrid using the hashtag #quepodcast or send him a direct message.
